The Metchosin Foundation celebrated another year of service to the District of Metchosin at its 2018 AGM on June 3 at the Community House. The featured speaker was Dr. Werner Kurz, a Metchosin resident and internationally renowned scientist. Dr. Kurz has contributed to our understanding of forests, carbon cycling, and climate change. He challenged us at the AGM to think globally and act locally.
