Support for learning is a broad objective, manifest in a variety of ways. Our annual scholarship offering has been tailored to be congruent with our agency’s registered purposes and accessible to diverse applicants. Its success is evident in the calibre of applications we are privileged to review each year. We are pleased to support nature-based learning programs in local elementary schools and via the Westshore chapter of NatureKids BC. Adult learning is facilitated through our ongoing, collaborative relationship with the Metchosin Biodiversity Project and its popular Talk & Walk series and annual bioblitz and mycoblitz events. Post-secondary institutions such as the University of Victoria and Royal Roads are welcome partners in a variety of Metchosin Foundation initiatives.
